Épp időben? – Valahogy így szokták mondani. A TCA Awards-höz kerestem volna forrást, amikor rátaláltam, hogy 2015-ben nem foglalkoztunk a Fox tiniknek szóló díjátadójával, a Teen Choice Awards-szel, melynek átadója az este folyamán lesz. Mi ez, ha nem mázli?! Aki kíváncsi a show-ra, az amerikai idő szerint 20 órakor csekkolja a Fox műsorát, azaz valamikor hajnali 2 körül látnak neki a díjak kiosztásának.

A tavalyi esztendő győzteseiről nem született írás, így a lényegesebbekről had beszéljek. Dráma kategóriában: a Pretty Little Liars tartolt, ahol Ian Harding és Lucy Hale győzedelmeskedett a főszereplők között. A sci-fi/fantasy-nál se volt másképp, egyeduralmon a The Vampire Diaries két szereplőjével, Ian Somerhalder–rel és Nina Dobrev-vel. A komédiánál a The Big Bang Theory nyert, illetve Ross Lynch (Austin & Ally) és Lea Michele (Glee). Az év kedvenc animációja: a The Simpons, reality-je: a Keeping Up with the Kardashians, verseny reality-je: a The Voice lett. Az év gonoszának: a Teen Wolf-os Dylan O’Brian-t választották. Feltörekvő kategóriában: a Faking It tűnt ki, míg a nyár sorozata: a Wipeout lett. Dióhéjban így áll a 2014-es év.

Kétségtelenül a 2015-ös év meglepetése az Empire lehet. 10 jelöléssel indul, lesz több kategória ahol egyből két színészével is képviselteti magát. Ergo, mindet nem tudja haza vinni, maximum úgy, ha holtverseny alakul ki, melyre eléggé csekély a kilátás. A The CW a The Flash-sel se szomorkodhat, hiszen 7 jelölést zsákolt be, ami teljesen korrekt újoncként, főleg úgy, hogy a The Vampire Diaries 9-szel vág neki. Meglepő beválogatás nem történt, legalábbis egyet se tudnék kihangsúlyozni, amivel a pupillám kitágult volna
