26. alkalommal kerül megrendezésre idény a Gemini Awards. A díjátadóról annyit kell tudni, hogy Kanadában a legrangosabb tévés esemény, ahol évenként díjazzák cirka 87 kategóriában az országuk legjobbjait. (Az elsőt 1986-ban osztották ki.)

Az elmúlt három évben a Showcase és a GlobalTV adott otthont a tévés közvetítésének, míg idén – 4 esztendő után – ismételten a CBC-nél landoltak a jogok. Egyelőre nincs infó arról, hogy ki lesz a műsorvezetője, viszont a hely (Toronto) és az idő (szeptember 7) már adott. Különösen azért is ajánlanám figyelmetekbe a tovább mögötti listarészletet, mert akár egy útmutató lehet azokhoz a produkciókhoz, amik mostanság futnak, de nem kóstoltatok bele. Gondolok: a Call Me Fitz-re, a Shattered-re vagy a Durham County-ra. Mindhárom olyan sorozat, amit vétek lenne kihagyni, mert egy-két rész után berántja az embert.
