Vasárnap este 11. alkalommal osztották ki a Teen Choice Awards díjait. A díjátadóról annyit érdemes tudni, hogy a tinik díjazzák a legkedveltebbeket az egyes kategóriákban. Cirka egy hónap áll rendelkezésükre, hogy leadják a voksaikat a hivatalos oldalon. A Fox ad otthont a tévés közvetítésének. Nemcsak tévés részleg kapja meg az elismerését, hiszen a filmeknek, a zenéknek és egyéb műfajoknak is vannak fő-, illetve azoknak alkategóriája.

A jelöltek listáját két hullámban közlik. Az elsőben az egész idényre kiterjesztik. A másodikban csak a nyári produkciók játszanak. Délután folyamán már elcsiripeltem, hogy a The Vampire Diaries mekkora nyertese volt, hiszen 5 kategóriát is magáénak tudhatott. Azon viszont egy jót mosolyogtam, hogy a „kedvenc vámpír” kategóriában se a True Blood, se ő nem tudta elhalászni a Twilight elől a győzelmet. A sorozatokra vonatkozó listát keressétek a tovább mögött, az összre vonatkozót pedig a hivatalos oldalon.
